What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email address, delivery address where a physical item is ordered, the photos you upload and any notes you send with them. We also collect basic order information such as what you bought and when.
Why we use it
We use your information to create and deliver your portrait, to email you about your order, to produce and ship any physical products, and to answer your questions. We do not sell your data.
Your photos
Photos you upload are stored securely and used by our artists to create your portrait. We will not publish your photo or finished portrait in our gallery or on social media without asking you first.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed with the services that run our shop: our payment and checkout provider, our email delivery provider, our print and shipping partners, and our hosting and database provider. Each processes your data on our instructions.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting and support. You can ask us to delete your uploaded photos and finished artwork at any time once your order is complete.
Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep your cart and currency preference working. We do not use them to build advertising profiles.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@matchdaymemories.com and we will respond within one month.
